John Hampden Grammar School

Sixth Form

Most students stay on from Year 11 into the Sixth Form and are joined by some external candidates. The results obtained by the end of Year 13 are exceptional. Value added figures (progress from GCSE) are also some of the highest amongst Buckinghamshire grammar schools.

Students are also expected to take an active role in the life of the School and are usually seen as role models for the younger students. To find out more, please read the Sixth Form prospectus.

The Sixth Form Prospectus for 2020 is available here.  The application form can be found here; please complete it and send it to us by post or e-mail by Friday 29 November.

We look forward to receiving your application.

The Sixth Form Open Evening took place at the beginning of November. If you missed it, you are welcome to contact the main school number and speak to Reception to arrange a tour of the School. The Prefects providing the tour will be able to answer many of your questions about life at John Hampden.
