Our Programmes of Study

As a high-performing grammar school, academic excellence is the core of what we offer at JHGS. Our teachers are subject experts who challenge students to master the content in the classroom, but also to go beyond and see their chosen A Levels as exciting fields of discovery. Moreover, one period each week is set aside for the Futures programme, in collaboration with nearby Wycombe High School Girls’ Sixth Form. Students can sign up to a number of four-week ‘electives’ run by teachers to encourage academic enrichment, intellectual excitement and important life skills.
