Sixth Form Life
Most students stay on from Year 11 into the Sixth Form and are joined by some external candidates. The results obtained by the end of Year 13 are exceptional. Value added figures (progress from GCSE) are also some of the highest amongst Buckinghamshire grammar schools.
Students are also expected to take an active role in the life of the School and are usually seen as role models for the younger students. To find out more, please read the Sixth Form prospectus.
The Sixth Form Prospectus for 2022 is available here.
Unfortunately were are unable to hold a Sixth Form Open Evening in school this term due to Covid-19. We have therefore produceda set of videos to introduce you to the Sixth Form and our A Level subjects. These include presentations by Miss Hartley, Headteacher, and Miss Burrow, Assistant Head - Director of Sixth Form, which will cover information about our Sixth Form and about the application process.
We hope that later in the year we will be able to welcome applicants to the school to have a look around, ask questions about the Sixth Form and get a feel in person for what John Hampden has to offer.
Year 12 Presentation Powerpoint is available to view here.
