The Business, Economic and Enterprise Department's aim is that students embody the principle #bemoreknowledgable, and develop their understanding of the commercial environment. This includes development of enterprise skills, as well as subject knowledge relating to Business and Economics. All aspects of the subject are applied to current business events #bemoreindependent. We use examples in the news which students relate to, and develop a range of material and topics to bring the students an applied understanding of the subjects.

In the spirit of #bemoreambitious, these subjects are popular options at GCSE (Business) and A level (Business and Economics) with large numbers of students going on to study related courses in Higher Education.

All students, whether taking the subject or not, have an opportunity to take part in a range of enterprise activities in the school, throughout their time at JHGS. #bemoreexcited #bemoreinvolved
