NASA Astronaut Dominic 'Tony' Antonelli at JHGS

We were delighted in June to welcome Tony Antonelli, former NASA astronaut and veteran of two space flights into school. The visit was kindly organised with the help of alumnus Sam McKee and the International Space School Education Trust. 

What an opportunity for students to question someone who has visited the International Space Station.

Mr Antonelli presented a slide show of shots from the ISS, of earth and beyond as well as personal videos and professional images of space from earth, from the Mars rover and many points between.  Our audio visual team have recorded the talk and this film will be available for students to view shortly.
