John Hampden Grammar School is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident and flexible person to work as an Administrative Assistant in support of the Leadership Team.
This is an important role within the school and a positive attitude and empathic manner along with the ability to prioritise and deal with a demanding workload is vital.
You will be an excellent communicator, confident dealing with staff, students and parents. You will have good attention to detail and have the capacity to work in an environment that requires diplomacy, tact and confidentiality. Knowledge of SIMS would be advantageous, however full training can be offered to the successful applicant if necessary.
Hours: 30 hours per week: 8.30am – 2.30pm, 5 days a week - (working hours and days could be negotiated for the right candidate).
39 weeks per year: Term time plus staff INSET days.
Salary: Bucks pay range 4 £26,477 pa - £28,645 pa FTE, Actual pro-rata salary £18,413 pa - £19,920 pa for 30 hours per week and 39 working weeks p.a.

Required as soon as possible, our Learning Support department is seeking an enthusiastic colleague to provide academic support across the curriculum for pupils with Special Educational Needs at our Ofsted outstanding grammar school.
The successful candidate will have some knowledge of Special Educational Needs, ideally gained within a school environment. We would be particularly interested to hear from candidates who would be able to offer strong support in the core subject area of English.

One Year Fixed Term Contract from September 2023 to July 2024
We are seeking an organised, reliable and enthusiastic PE Technician to join our highly successful PE Department. Reporting to the Director of Sport, you will be responsible for maintaining high quality technician services through leading coaching sessions in a variety of activities, acting as the Duty Supervisor for After School clubs and maintaining operational efficiency for the department.
This is an important role within the school, so a positive attitude and calm manner along with the ability to prioritise and deal with a demanding workload is vital. You will be an excellent communicator, confident dealing with staff, pupils and parents. You will have good attention to detail and have the capacity to work in an environment that requires diplomacy, tact and confidentiality.
The ideal candidate would hold a qualification in coaching or officiating and/or have experience working in schools or with young people, though this is not essential.
A first aid qualification is required and full training will be provided.
Hours: 37 hours per week: (9.45am to 5.15pm) 3 days a week and (8.45am to 5.15pm) 2 days a week with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
39 weeks per year: Term time only plus 5 staff training days
Salary is dependent on experience but will be paid within Bucks Pay Range 1B, currently £20,297 to £21,223 per annum, actual pro-rata salary range £17,408 to £18,203 per annum (equivalent to £10.52 to £11.00 per hour).
