Cover Manager

Required from September 2022, John Hampden Grammar School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, reliable and organised Cover Manager.

The duties include the line management of cover supervisor and supply staff as well as covering lessons.  This is a key role in the school ensuring the efficient running of the school, therefore candidates must possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills, be flexible and demonstrate excellent administrative and IT skills.

Candidates should also possess a calm yet assertive and professional manner and relate well to our students.

Site Team Assistant

Required to start as soon as possible, we are looking for a real team player with the ability to be flexible to requests for support within a busy school environment and assisting our Site Manager to provide a clean and safe environment for all users of our school buildings and grounds.

This is an important role within the school and a positive attitude and calm manner along with the ability to prioritise and deal with a demanding workload is vital. You will be an excellent communicator, confident dealing with staff, students, parents and visitors to the school. You will have good attention to detail and have the capacity to work in an environment that requires diplomacy, tact and confidentiality.

Salary: Bucks Pay range 2 currently £20,258 to £22,766 per annum plus a generous pension package

Sports Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful PE department at John Hampden Grammar School. Working with the Director of Sport, you will be responsible for managing all the administrative tasks for sports clubs and the PE department by managing budgets, organising practice schedules, sourcing sports coaches and sports opportunities for our students.

You will be a real team player with the ability to be flexible to department requests for support and be highly organised with the ability to prioritise your work in this busy role.

Hours: 25 hours Monday to Friday, 10am – 3.00pm 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 INSET days)

Salary: Bucks Pay range 3 currently £23,152 to £25,043 per annum. Actual pro-rata salary range £13,267 to £14,350 per annum.
